About the Contest
The Seven Sisters Book Awards is a celebration of the stories of women and those who tell them. Established in 2015 by author Lynne Hinton, these book awards create an opportunity to encourage and honor women writers. There are six categories for books to be entered, seven to be judged:
- Children/Juvenile/Young Adult
- Fiction/Other (includes short story collections, mystery, suspense, romance, historical)
- First Full-length book by an author
- *Best Book of the Year: (Judges select the best book of the six winners)
Winners receive a certificate, trophy, and an opportunity to purchase promotional Winner Stickers for their books.
The 2017 competition is open to books published and/or copyrighted in 2017.
Deadline for entry is October 1, 2017
Finalists will be notified before December 31, 2017
Winners will be notified before January 31, 2018
Entry fee is $50 (pay with check or pay pal)
